Just been reading about Andre Villas Boas since he left England and he has done well, not been afraid to be vocal against a clubs heirarchy and even got suspended for calling out poor decisions by Chinese officials.

Those characteristics are just a few of what I would love to see at Everton. We need a manager who will stand up for what he wants as a manager and will stand up for the club as well.

Arteta is a terrible example though because after he took over they nosedived. If we were to do that under Rooney or Ferguson we’d be in the bottom three.

Arteta has done more right there than Emery and late period Wenger did; next season when he's got rid of more of the waistrels they could actually do something.

The only positive of that arrangement is that it would be inevitable that he would eventually try to fight a player and I find that possibility hilarious
Crying out for natural leaders at Everton. What a combination of Duncan and Keane. Would certainly get the terraces going !!!

Id take Duncan as interim AND in a ideal world would hire Roy Keane as interim defensive coach because he would give them a kick up the backside. Leave attacking to Duncan. Leave defence to Keane.
Who would you hire as Interim transition from defence to attack coach? And Interim transition from attack to defence coach?

And would we have an Interim set-piece coach or will the Interim defensive coach look after defending free-kicks while Interim Dunc takes care of attacking set-pieces? And do we need an Interim GK Coach and Interim Head of Fitness / Conditioning?

Rather we pick someone from outside the club to get fresh eyes on the squad ! Rooney and Martinez already been here and know lads and "friends" with board etc so will be nodding dogs and wont pick teams on merit

Potter happy at Brighton so no reason to go after him etc

Garcia, Favre, Gattuso and Lampard aeound so would risk one of them

Lampard did alright at Chelsea and has played with top players
Rudi Garcia, never managed in England , but did well at Lyon and loves premier league and ambitious to prove he can cut it
Gattuso was great nutty player so has attitude to shake stuff up
Favre is good manager
