Yeah and guess what the difference between a nurse/police/care home worker and a footballer is? All those professions are essential and a necessity for our society to function. Having 2 football games in the space of 2 days is not a necessity, it's selfishness.

Make the European Cup for champions only, which would mean less teams involved.

That would mean a maximum of only 9 games, instead of 13 which it currently is.

Why not scrap the league Cup, England is the only country in the major leagues to have 2 domestic cup competitions and the only country in Europe not to have a winter break.

The prize money of offer is a joke, you get £1 million a point in the group stages of the CL, when you win it you get around £145-150 million combined with prize money and tv money.

Look at the prize money here combined to the CL. lol

About what I expected from you. Money money money.

The League Cup gives clubs and their fans a chance of a day out at Wembley and maybe a trophy. It’s not all about money. Nope, Champions of each country only in the Champions League. As the name of the tournament would suggest. 4 less games…. I’m sure the clubs could survive the cut in cash for the sake of player welfare.

It’s a chance for people to take there kids nephews Nieces the game. Going a prem game isn’t cheap and sold out every week. I love a home draw in the cup games easier to get tickets. so I can take my nephews. So I would rather it wasn’t scrapped who cares about prize money I care about sharing something I love with the young ones in my family.
