I'm hoping Liverpool win and go on to have to play 2 SF games and the final and get beat there. Even if they win it that's 3 more games than they want, and the LC is not a major prize at that level.
I reckon Klopp wouldn't mind going out of the cup tonight given what's in the pipeline.

I can see the logic but I don’t want them winning a bean. Given their propensity to just play game after game at ridiculous intensity I’m not sure a couple of extra games would matter for their prem challenge. It will be any injuries or the AFCON that will hopefully derail that. I dont want anything that would give them a shot in the arm (to go with the chemical ones they’ve undoubtedly already had) and a league cup win with the ensuing parade would be fuel to the fire for them.

There'll be no parades.
But they really are down to bare bones when games come thick and fast. Look at the state of that midfield on Sunday. Spurs did so well for that reason. They made Winks look like Xavi.

They really need to engage the brain cell they have, before spouting off.
I see the assistant manager is quoted today as well, saying that there are too many games - Himmler and his office of propaganda and misinformation is alive and well.
