I’m not sure if a happy camp is a good thing with this group though? It’s been a happy camp for 7 years and we’ve been putrid. Players have all been having a great time with each other, there’s barely been a falling out at all and we’ve been absolutely terrible. Maybe it’s about time a few people fell out with each other because a few home truths might finally be getting told e.g ‘you lot are crap and have achieved nothing in ages so maybe try running a bit you lazy arseholes’, home truths like that.
Great management that mate, that’ll get them wanting to play for him. That whole morale thing is overrated, I’ve always said. Jeez and you wonder why people think he’s lost the players…

You'll be waiting in vain for a dismissal before the January is out at least.

Just my opinion like, but if the axe was happening it'd have come down right after Liverpool rattled 4 in against us at Goodison.
We will see, Mosh sheer ignorance and belligerence to the fanbase after the Derby will have played a factor, but he can't be totally oblivious or indifferent to it.

I’m not sure anyone has put any win down to Benitez’s tactics. Honestly most of these exchanges are people making up wild accusations like:

‘He’s lost all the players’

‘He’s forcing our best players out’

‘We’re getting relegated’

‘I can’t see where the next win is coming from’

When you point out that these things are either unlikely or just factually incorrect you then get accused of massively fan boying Benitez. I’m not sure I’ve read a single post that has praised his tactics or credited them for getting a win. It’s not irrational to point out the logical fallacy of crediting the fans and players for every win but blaming the manager for every loss.
Given your impassioned defence of our current manager there is one question I have to ask you , do you actually enjoy watching the football that he has purveyed during his career?
A subsidiary question, would you be happy that he could allowed to set up the entire club to play his ‘style’ even after he has departed?
For me the answer to both questions is an emphatic NO!
But yourself?

Ah you’re back. Here to explain that outright lie of yours that you keep skulking away from, after playing ignorant for a post or two?
I have zip to explain to you.

Is this about the bobble? Has his fantastical claims of Kenwright throwing down ultimatums to the owner been backed up anywhere, never mind come to pass?

Just because you fell for his tripe, dont be visiting your disappointment at Nostrabobblus on me.

They’re crap players. Doesn’t matter if they’re happy as Larry or they’re at war with the manager, it’s irrelevant. This side playing at their best is a bottom half outfit, at their worst it’s a bottom half outfit. They just need to be punted. Why keep them all happy? Hopefully most of them are getting told they’ve got not future at the club.

He can see where the problem is, and if he buckles to it again he'll be here again next season.

Hopefully this feller has finally grown a pair of testicles ands will back a manager.

Nice deflection. And no, you don’t have to explain anything. But generally when you get caught in a lie, the decent thing to do is to hold your hands up.

So as a public service, it’s worth bringing it up on occasion, so people know not to take anything you say with anything more than a pinch of salt.

I saw what a handful thought.

I think you're seriously underestimating the deep well of discontent amongst Evertonians for these players. It's been there for years, but now it;s getting to a different level. Whether it comes from Benitez or his successor, I believe our fans fancy a reckoning with these players and some blood on the carpet.
Sounded like an entire away end to me Dave.

What reckoning can they achieve with the players? Managers get sacked when the fan base turns on them, players don't.

Benitez will, and rightly so, carry the can for these performances at some point. Whether it's next week, after January, at the end of the season it won't stop the inevitable coming for him.

Yes, I’m sure Roy Keane agrees with you but not sure I or any sane person does.

A temporary stay of execution. He's on death row waiting for a date right now. That's all it is now, a matter of time.

We haven’t played any good football since Martinez’s first season and a few games under Carlo so I couldn’t really care less what style Benitez brings, it can’t be any worse than what’s been served up the last 7 years.

Managers change the style when they enter a club, look how quickly United fell away from Fergie’s football to Moyes. These long term philosophies don’t exist. When Benitez goes his football will go with him.

I want a couple of seasons of Benitez sweeping the decks and leaving us with a squad of players who are fit, mobile, have a decent mentality, and actually want to play for the club. Is that really so hard to comprehend? Does that make me a super fan because I don’t want another managerial change and another 12 months of Coleman Keane Davies Iwobi surviving transfer windows or even worse getting an extension? No.

Well to counter your point I'd say they haven't been this bad in the last 7 years so if they were a happy camp back then it probably was more effective than Benitez' tyranny.

Results wise, it can and has been.

Why do you think Benitez is the only man in the world capable of doing that? Especially given what the club looks like now under his leadership?

A lie. I know who I think is the source of the lie.
