Think the biggest dent in F1s reputation is the quality of some the drivers currently clogging up the track. So many incidents this season caused by drivers who lack the fundamentals.
Honestly believe thete are some on here who would be a better bet.

Interesting this, Masi surely has to go now.

He knew what he was doing. He saw a chance to engineer a results and took it. Bigger question is reallyz did his paymaster's tell him to do it, or did he do it on his own volition.
When you take away the emotion of the day, it is blatant that Verstappen winning was what was wanted.
Once that decision was made, the race and WC was Verstappens. There was no other outcome.
Hamilton should have touched his wing on Verstappens tyre and punctured it.

F1 is the new wrestling…….

*dusts down holy scripture, passes hymn books down the lines of unwashed*

Are you suggesting that Hamilton and Verstappen strip down into their definitely-very-sinful smalls, oil up with grease and pretend to fight while in fact taking part in some Old Testament style homoeroticism?

At least that would bring @Tubey back

*puts hands together, offers thoughts but more importantly prayers*

I wonder what was going on with the betting……

Tbh I think there was too little time to worry about that, all I'll say is the president of the FIA is a very good pal with one Michael Schumacher whose record Hamilton would have surpassed. As is the F1 managing director, as is the CEO.

I am no expert in F1, but quite enjoy it.

So, why is it, when the virtual SC is used, the drivers all reduce their speed, and keep the distances between each other, but when the real SC is used, they can all bunch up?

In retrospect I feel terribly sad for Max who has had this win tarnished by the FIA and Masi. Of course, if the roles were reversed then they'd absolutely have done the same thing and Hamilton's 8th and record breaking title would have been tarnished. Let's hope this never happens again and that Max goes on to have a successful and trophy filled career and that Christian Horner will continue to be his usual cheery self.
