Slipped Disc

My wife has just been diagnosed with a prolapsed disc in her back. She has been in agony and crying with the pain. The doctor keeps changing her tablets around but nothing seems to work. Just wondering if anyone has any advice to give cheers.

Jondel, That’s going to be a challenge as pain medication can become addictive for those with pain, but hopefully as she gets better she let go of those. And with other treatments she continues improving ??

Thanks Sass she's determined to come off the pills and she's doing more exercise now. She actually drove the car today for the first time in months so she must be getting better. Thanks for keeping in touch Sass hope you have a lovely day

Her determination will serve her well. More exercise is the way to get better too, sometimes exercise hurts and feels more agonizing than comforting but the mobility will help her improve. Nothing to thank me about, I have deal with such pain before and now how badly it can impact our lives and that of those around us so I’m happy for you and her that she is recovering.

Thanks, we are in Costa Rica at the moment for a holiday and a bit we will be going to check out some hanging bridges at the rainforest so it should be fun. You have a lovely day too.

Her determination will serve her well. More exercise is the way to get better too, sometimes exercise hurts and feels more agonizing than comforting but the mobility will help her improve. To be honest Sass I don't really drink cocktails myself. My wife likes them. I usually have a few beers but as I get older I like a nice glass of dry white wine ?.

Hahaha tbh I really like a good tequila straight but I also enjoy a good margarita, or a nice glass of Prosecco. I’m not a beer drinker at all but like you, my hubby is.
