Some very worrying signs last night. To say we got lucky with that last 10 minute flourish was an understatement. If not for the pair of worldies from Gray we would have lost that match.

Arsenal had multiple opportunities as well despite playing about as badly as you could imagine.

I would expect a draw at best against Palace followed by the routine hammering at Chelsea at which point we are back to square one with the pig.

Disturbing times.
The match was us dominating them and them falling over to try and avoid the defeat that was coming their way.

Arteta banked on the fans getting on the players' backs after going behind; it didn't happen and we roared back at them after HT and took a well deserved win.

At Newcastle, they had a really bad injury rate, within a few weeks of being there he ordered them to rip up the training pitch and put a new one in, injury rate improved.

He got rid of Graham Carr who was their chief scout.

He tried to get rid of Charnley their DOF but to no avail.

Brought in Amanda Staveley to buy Ashley out.

Worked a treat given the multiple relegations and awful recruitment since...

His reaction when Gray's goal went in yesterday. That's kind of damning you know. Maybe he was just relieved, maybe he felt it undeserved, or maybe he's already been told he is finished?
Let’s be certain of one thing
The departure of Brands means the opposite to he is finished
The board looked at Benitez and his role in Gray and Townsend and realise with Benitez connection and knowledge of player we save money by dump the DoF
Benitez here to stay

Good to see you’re happy Everton won.

He made that clear in the recent interview after Brands had gone. The owner and board are behind him.

But we need more positive results.

I realize that Brands brought gray to the club and I thank him for that
