There's got to be something lad, at the end of the day of the day there's too many people employed by this club that are happy to ride the gravy train.

It can be separate, we can get 100% behind the team on match day and criticise how the club is being run.

most of our fans aren’t assed. we’re going in circles and happy to be a no mark club just floating about!

I honestly think loads of people either just don't think we as a collective can make a difference to the higher ups or are frightened of it affecting the team when we're playing.

We honestly have one of the most passionate fan bases in world football lad. Evertonians absolutely live for the Toffees 24/7 despite the financial outlay and no reward. Sure we all indulge in some gallows humour about the bad times but ultimately we just wanna see us be competitive.

Fans can make a difference but as you say it could have a substantial negative effect depending on how fans go about things.

For example , apathy. Apathy can have a huge affect depending on the numbers who feel it , like spending their money on something else, not renewing season tickets or buying merchandise. Not interacting on the social media side of things, not responding or liking tweets, watching YouTube videos or engaging with people who cover the club from a media perspective.

They are well aware (the club) that will never happen on a substantial scale because too many are heavily invested emotionally and they play on that and dare I say take it for granted.

It’s tricky as I think a kick up the arse is what they and football, Sky etc need but it won’t happen. Of course we then have the consequences like people’s jobs gone if business drops in large numbers.

A vicious circle really.

Yeah man I can see what you're saying. I do think though we can do both as fans, be behind our team but not behind how it's being ran.

At the end of the day, the attention we bring to it as fans will eventually bring difficult questions to board members and shareholders. Be that from the media or just more fans feeling confident or informed enough to engage with it.

This club defo takes us for granted btw. I'm not asking for trophies FFS I'm just asking for us to try and for us to be ran like an actual competent football club.

Ask yourself, when things are difficult, do you want people who will speak out under pressure or be meek. Because it’s all there for people to see. Who says what and when they said it. It’s all there.

Things are good? Can’t shut them up . Bad? A Coleman or now Townsend sound bite. I mean how unreasonable to ask multimillionaires like a director of football or a chairmen a few questions when things aren’t going well? It tells you everything.

Small club mentality. Smells from the top down. To many at the top of the club willing to just get paid. No pride and ambition. I excuse moshri from this, as he just needs to invest, and employee someone with a football brain and experience of running a club of our size. With the ability to take it to next level. And won’t just accept below average performance , and that’s from anywhere to the playing staff, management team, medical team, Media team, customer services team, commercial team etc etc. Our motto literally makes us ironic. The only thing we have been the best at for god knows how long, is charity such Everton in the community. But even then we also give stupid charity to players and give them long term contacts when 1st they aren’t good enough, but most importantly don’t deserve it. A Purge should of happened, now I understand why farhad didn’t do it as soon as he invested in the club, just to have stability for a few years. But as soon as he become major shareholder, he needed to make the decisions and get rid of the crap and yes men. He himself has made poor decisions, hence why we needed people with vast experience and not afraid to make tough decisions, and be brave enough to say no that’s not acceptable regardless of who or what it is. I am proud of us getting a state of the art stadium which will be the envy of most in football, but it will be 500 million wasted yet again, if the club don’t get their act together. This needs to happen yesterday not today, not tomorrow and certainly not when we have a shiny new stadium in 3 years. Live and breathe the motto of our club, if you can’t then go!

Lol, the one chance a year actual supporters of the club get a chance to ask direct questions to the ownership/board/management/etc and Farhad's pulling Boris Cobra meeting tactics.

Is there anyone on here who is a shareholder? If so, can you provide me with any insight on how these AGMs work or to what degree a lone shareholder can have their say at an AGM?

I would like to eventually be a shareholder if I'm ever in the financial position to be able to buy a share.
