Has there been any worse Everton centre forward since the premier league began than Rondon?

Ive witnessed the worst of Barlow, Angell, Spencer, Branch, Madar etc...this guy is non-league in comparison.

Ex colleague had seen him in Switzerland before we signed him...expected good things.

Not a centre forward though...second striker / 10 position when we signed him and through his career.

You know. I was gonna say Straq, but im not too sure. Straq was a bad footballer, but he ran a lot and preassured the ball, Rondon does nothing. I wasnt that against signing him as i though he would be a decent enough backup for a player whos never injured, but hes been a lot worse than i thought he would be. Always to slow, doesnt really win headers, seldom uses his strenght.

It’s weird because Stracqualursi was laughably bad technique wise, same for Niasse. Sandro was dreadful. Anichebe was painful to watch at times. Etc etc etc.

But, other than Rondon, I can’t think of a striker we’ve had who has offered literally nothing. Nothing at all. He may as well not be there. In fact, he’s taking up space that other players could run in to. Genuinely think we’d possibly be better off playing with 10.
