I had a subbuteo player like him once, flick him too hard and it broke. Ended up with so much Airfix glue on him his right knee was on the base and he looked daft. Never got many games in my team either (Tuebrook and district subbutteo league 1974). Punted him out to a a poor lad who was skint and needed a player to make up his first 11

Irony in football, if he does play on Saturday, the last team he started a prem league game was Watford. And he got his Injury in that game.

He played well in that Watford game before tiring.

I look forward to seeing him finally starting a PL game against Watford. Davies is no good in a 2 so if we play a 2 he needs to be the one picked. If we play a 3 because we need to because Davies is in there he would need to be 3rd midfielder as it doesn't look like either Delph or Gomes will be available.

We should play him til he breaks, rinse and repeat for rest of his contract.
If it means we get half dozen games from him a season its a massive improvement on what he's given us so far

What ever happened to players coming back from long injuries playing a few games for the youth teams. Would a few games for the u23s not get him match fit rather than sitting on the bench every week.
