Quite funny that a club that has had manager after manager talk up our Champions League ambitions can have some old journeyman dosser like this up front.

I’m 42 next week, haven’t played football at any level for the last 5 years, and am currently eating a big chunk of cheese whilst laid up on my sofa wearing a lumbar support having done my back in yesterday moving some patio slabs, which means I literally can’t walk 5 yards without looking like I’ve just necked 17 cans of Stella.

Yet I still think I’d be a better option up top than Rondon right now.

Probably not mate tbh

Maybe a bit too late, but i think its time we give our youth a bit more time , like Simms for instance . With Dom due back , Rondon will drop to the bench, we won't give them playing time unless Dom or Rondon gets injured . But then it begs the question again , why haven't we given them a chance ? Just my opinion

I dunno. The big problem with Sandro was whenever he got a sniff of the ball in any sort of a dangerous position he turned into Bambi on ice.

Still completely baffled to this day how he manages this.
Mind. Boggled.

It's as if benitez is saying to moshiri, 'yes, I know he's slow, immobile, a bit pudgy, but trust me, he's south american, there's a player in there somewhere'. Similar to what steve bruce says when defending his purchase of joelinton.
