At times last season he was asked to do too much. He seems to have a clear role now.

Outstanding start to the season.

Think the biggest difference is not having cover James defensive duties this season freeing him to be the box 2 box CM he was at Watford.

It could easily be argued that he is the most improved player at the club too. Absolute quality.

was saying the same last night , not only are they very good players in their own right but as a pairing they are working extremely well. The problem when one of them gets injured is replacing them , that problem is amplified ten times more when you have to replace them with any of davies , delph , gomes etc we need another cm so we can rest and replace them needed

I know it’s not a popular opinion but Besic would have been an able deputy as cover. Presumably, when he’s fit it will be Gbamin.
