Plucky defeat. I feel it in my bones too.
Possible 25 minutes of hope until Fernandez free kick hits Mina on knee bounces to Keane who slices/deflects it past Pickford who had gone the right way.
I hope Pickford takes a leaf out of Emiliano Martinez's book from last weekend, insisting that Ronaldo would be better placed to take it than Fernandes. That was some of the best s**thousery I've ever seen, and it worked a treat.

Would be good to have JPG available for this, think a 3 man midfield of him, Allan and Doucoure could be useful for us away to the better sides.

Sorry but for the life of me I cannot understand the posters who are talking about a plucky defeat There is no such thing. A defeat is the loss of three points full stop and as an Evertonian I cannot approach any game in which my team is involved by thinking in terms of a defeat. Come on lads lets stuff them!!!

It will be a game of goals, I dont think we will get battered as I think we have what it takes to counter attack them, Keane's blood will be dizzy from CR7 turning him every couple of minutes, Allan will give Pogba a snide kick early on and shut him up, I'd put Tom Davies on for the first five minutes to give Fernandes a good kick and then sub him off so he can't do any damage. Without DCL and Richy I am not confident of three points but who knows, I remember thinking the same when we went there and Oviedo baby did for the sweaty mancs

You say this but look at the game we have won then some have come out with rubbish like it was Only Brighton, Only Southampton....etc are they expected wins? No, there's no such thing.
