ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Please can I have some of what you're on? In no universe is Doucoure or Gomes getting ahead of Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson. Criticise him all you want, but he is a good player and captain, something that's sorely lacking at ours.

Godfrey is not better than Van Dijk or Gomez. Or Matip. We have to be honest here.

Only one I really agree with is Calvert-Lewin playing through the medal ahead of Firminho.

I like Jordan, but come on, he's not better than Alisson. It only harms Jordan to compare the two. He's a very good goalkeeper don't get me wrong, and he seems to have improved massively since we bought him, but I'm not picking him over Alisson.

And no, we're not getting Top 4, and certainly not pushing them out of it. It's been 4 games. We're still miles off even Leicester. If we can get Europa League or even Europa Conference I'd be delighted. We're in no way ready for CL football yet. Getting into one of the other comps would at least allow us a chance of a trophy and get us into the rhythm of 2/3 games a week.
Trent likes this.

Doucs and Allan are better than Thiago. In fact Doucs has scored and assisted more just this season (two goals, three assists) than Thiago has in his entire career at the RS (one goal, one assist).

From Garth's team of the week on BBC. Reads as code for "I need to shoehorn as many kopites in as possible"

Henderson: Liverpool's draw at Brentford was an extraordinary game to watch and yet I was struggling to find a player to select for my team. The match was littered with mistakes and moments of occasional brilliance.

I refuse to select defenders who concede three goals at home or away and strikers who miss more chances than they score - although I have to make an exception for Salah - which leaves me with Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool keep trying to write this lad off but when the Merseysiders hit the buffers, and they did against Brentford, Henderson is the one player they can depend on to see them through the crisis. An exceptional professional.

Did you know? Jordan Henderson made three key passes against Brentford - more than any other player in the match.

I recently called out EverTheOptimist and he's disappeared, now GroovyAsh who recently backed him up and has a similar writing style suddenly appears. I think you are definitely onto something.

@EverTheOptimist has still been posting. Just hasn't been in this thread since you outed him as RAWK member @Redsince86 and he was vaulted by @Efcjake.

Also, gets fingered mercilessly in here, particularly from @cronullasharks and @malfosse. I admire their dedicated disdain for the sad little cockwomble.

The coward never responds whenever he gets called out, but on the plus side for him, lurker @Maggie appears to be a fan.

I did notice that he went on to pick Salad 'even though he had a poor game' - because he scored his hundredth goal with 'probably the easiest chance of the game'. Yes, of course. That makes complete sense, that somebody having 'a poor game' gets in the team of the week, by virtue of having scored 99 goals in previous matches.

I, for one, welcome our Crooks Overlord, and will continue to be guided by his insight and wisdom.

First Kopite up on the Radfio Merseyside phone in: "the moneybags clubs have spent and we didn't".
At some point, people are going to realise the people who ring in to TalkSport and other radio phone-ins are either idiots or trolls. Heard it all before, including supposed Blues who were quite obviously RS. Wouldn't surprise me if there are some Blues who ring up pretending to be RS for a laugh!

Well he's just confirmed your opinion about idiots as he did say it was a rs fan who called up.
