Given the injury updates this is how I expect to see them line up.

Pickford
Holgate Mina Keane Digne
Doucoure Allan
Townsend Iwobi Gray
Rondon

Begovic Lonergan Kenny Godfrey Branthwaite Davies Gordon Simms Dobbin

Personally I think they should promote another youth teamer but I imagine they might even just go with 8 subs. That team should have more than enough to beat Norwich and surely its time for Simms to get a cameo even if its just 15-20 minutes.
Yeah really cant see any other starting 11, that team shold be good enough

Interesting dilema, play with no recognised striker or play with a tub o'lard that we signed from China on deadline day. Unfortunately because of the obstinacy of the manager it will likely be the aforementioned tub, Simms or Dobbin will never get a look in. No wonder Jebbison turned us down.

We should win, even with the injuries but if it’s true that Norwich have effectively lost 15 on the bounce over 2 prem seasons then we all know what could happen here ?

Trevor Steven scores Everton FC’s second goal in their 3-0 win against Norwich City FC in this League Division One match played on at Goodison Park on the 27th April 1985.

If City drop points tomorrow we'll be 4th with a win - and only Brighton getting an away win on Monday at Palace could shift us from 4th.

4th.
That's two ifs though, Dave: if we win and if City drop points - three if you toss in if Brighton don't win.

If we weren't so decimated by injuries, I'd fully demand the three points at home to Norwich, but given we are - and given our appalling ability, last season, to lose to dross at home - I am not sure how we can expect to win this after our capitulation to lower-league QPR in midweek. Put simply, our squad in decimated form isn't a class above Norwich.

I expect a tight game with our second-rate squad confirming its abject mediocrity by dropping more points. A win would be marvelous in the circumstances and a real boost, but our issue is the same as it's been for a while: we have far too many players who plenty of our fan-base overrate to the extent that they are blinded to their inadequacy. Tom Davies would, in all fairness, not be assured of a place in the Norwich side, yet he could well be in ours tomorrow. Who knows, we might have a good day and Norwich might sink, but I am not at all confident in this depleted Everton squad. Without DCL and Richarlison, not to mention James and the expensive former Swansea City player, we're utterly ordinary. Norwich will fancy breaking their duck. Benitez will need to work a bit of magic because he'll be waiting a while for Alex Iwobi to.

I disagree. This is Norwich. They are abject.

We have scorers on the pitch in the form of their lives. We will win this, and handily IMO.

City are going get done by Chelsea. Chelsea are a cut above them. Even if City force a draw we still leapfrog them. Brighton v Palace is a 'derby', a very hostile atmosphere for that one. And though Brighton are playing well, Palace have been playing decent this season too, they did well at Anfield last week despite the score.

We'll go into the United game in 8 days time 4th in the league.

It would be lovely. I don't trust Iwobi, Holgate, and the other calamities to make it happen, though.

I used to live in Norwich and you wouldnt know that they have a (sometimes) premier league team

Thier stadium is attached to Morrsions and Travel Lodge lol
