ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Also how come there’s barely been a question from the media on where their new signing Konate is? Ole was getting it every week about Van der Beek. Benitez is now getting it all the time about James. If Pep left Grealish out I’m sure we wouldn’t hear the end of it. But Klopp leaves out a 36 mill point centreback signing? Not a word.

The RS have engendered a climate, whereby they can not be questioned.

The media is terrified of upsetting their demented fanbase.

The only player I’d have in the United defence for Liverpool is Alexander Arnold, and even then Wan Bissaka is very good defensively.

Chelsea play a back 3 so is slightly different but even then they will probably end up with the best defensive record in the league this season and have been great since Tuchel arrived.

Walker Stones/Laporte Dias Zinchenko. The only player getting in there from Liverpool is Robertson.

Id throw a blanket over all the keepers as similar standard, De Gea has had poor form recently but Allison was teeing up goals for City only last season.

Alexander Arnold and Van Dijk are poor positionally, they just have a lot of pace to bail them out and in Van Dijk’s case rely on being overly physical. Matip is in my view their best defender positionally but he’s not often fit. Robertson is annoyingly good when the PEDs are flowing. He looked bang average last season though when they weren’t.

Watch them in nearly any game and they’ll cough up two or three absolutely gilt edged changes for the opposition. They just don’t concede them though, it’s not good defending, just terrible finishing time after time after time. Even just consider our games against them, we’ve had Gomes Mina and Coleman all put headers from a yard out straight at the keeper, Tosun and DCL have missed open nets from inside the box, and Davies scuffed his onto the post. That’s just us. Like I said City have missed multiple penalties against them and Mount missed a sitter at 1-0 up for Chelsea. Teams just miss easy chances against them, always have done. The goals we conceded against Burnley last season, all three from Raphinha, the headers from Callum Wilson, even the one from Armstrong this season for Southampton, you just don’t see finishing like that agaisnt Liverpool hardly ever.
Lad van pickfords bitch walks into any side on the planet. It's not even a discussion.

Garth Crooks is hilarious, one of the highlights of the week is reading his nonsensical team of the weeks and his excuses for certain players who don't deserve to be init, ie United and Spurs players.
That man has mental problems I have no doubt of it , one week he had a player in the team of the week who hadn't played, I genuinely believe he needs to see a doctor.

They are in the process of getting him juiced and helping his asthma

Liverpool’s defensive stats would be nowhere near as good if teams would just finish blatant chances against them. It’s actually a fairly easy defence to get behind but as we saw against Leeds when premier league strikers are free as a bird inside the middle of the penalty area a yard from goal and hit it straight at Allison, or when City miss every pen they get against Liverpool, then the defensive record starts to look a lot better than their defence actually plays.

Chelsea United and City player for player have far better defences. Liverpool benefit from opposition profligacy and for being able to roughhouse opposition players without punishment (e.g Fabinho can’t seem to get a booking no matter the number of fouls per game whereas Allan just gets booked for his first tackle every match regardless of how harsh it is)

It's composure, players get nervous playing the rs, some teams have lost the game before the whistle at Anfield.

Well they did mention a rusty old trumpet making an appearance.
I remember that Boston photo on here where Dalglish looks bewildered... as though hes wondering who Rodgers is...and whats he doing with a wreath. What a treasure trove of skits that was especially with all the photoshopped pics of RS virtue signalling... hysterical. Nothings changed either by the looks.
