And right backsWould be very pleasing if Benitez can coach some extra ability into him, team is running dangerously low on scousers.
Twos enough (if they’re both any good!)And right backs
As I saidTwos enough (if they’re both any good!)
The German club could have offered some money so did Burnley in January and look what Brands had done here. Now we lose this guy for nothing next summer. He's awful.
League One at best.
Whilst I agree with you on the money front...I'm not so sure we could solely rely on Seamus, what with injuries and the like, I'm guessing we were hoping one of our targets would come in then allowing JJ to leave. The targets were totally missed so hence JJ stays, can't say I disagree with that decision. The German club could have offered some money so did Burnley in January and look what Brands had done here. Those offers were made last year before he went on loan. His loan at Celtic did him no favours, and his valley was dropped since then.Whilst I agree with you on the money front...I'm not so sure we could solely rely on Seamus, what with injuries and the like, I'm guessing we were hoping one of our targets would come in then allowing JJ to leave. Brands is extremely bad when shifting these players. Forever loan or asking too much and in the end we will lose them all on a free transfer ffs Brands. Aurier is on a free, just get him in.Whilst I agree with you on the money front...I'm not so sure we could solely rely on Seamus, what with injuries and the like, I'm guessing we were hoping one of our targets would come in then allowing JJ to leave. From a purely commercial perspective, I’d be pretty certain JJK would sign a new contract if offered, plenty of time to get a fee for him.The German club could have offered some money so did Burnley in January and look what Brands had done here. Now we lose this guy for nothing next summer.

without knowing the numbers offered this window, might have been more commercially viable to keep him anyway, ie sell him for £1 or £2m and have to spend more than that on maybe only a loan to give us cover (plus likely a higher wage)…. May as well keep him if that was the case, even at the risk of him going for free.
