Its just an example of what happens when you purchase either dud players or sign older players who have no sell on value - they are quite happy to stay on massive wages - Rodrigues is just been highlighted here as he is probably on the most income - It does mention others you know who they are - we found it hard to give them away on their wage structure..... in their contracts they have been given with us..... also some are injury prone .....
Salomon Rondon says hi Joey. The 2 year deal we have just given him, with the option of a further year is almost identical to the one Ancelotti gave James, if the rumours are to be believed he is also on north of 90k per week, the only difference is the fact that one of them is a tremendously gifted player, who was signed by our former manager as a player he had previously employed and rated and the other one is Rondon.

The more things change the more they stay the same. If Rondon doesn’t work out this season or if Benitez gets sacked, we will find it very difficult to move Rondon considering the contract we have given him.

Watching the Big Match this evening and one of the matches involved Milwall. Their goalkeeper had a good game (Bryan king), he rang a bell so googled him. Turns out he was a scout for us in Scandinavia and he recommended Haaland
.
He was a very good keeper for Millwall back in the 70’s

Just a wee update. Nathan Patterson asked Rangers to be able to join us. They wouldn't let him do a zoom call with the club, he was in isolation for covid, boy was not happy at all. That's from someone who has a financial investment in several young Rangers players, who is very close to the club. Would imagine we'll be back in January. Player wants to come here.

That ship has sailed.

So glad you work for the club and you know who we are chasing
Stands to reason. We dont do January windows, and by next summer we'll be able to get an experienced RB in and wont have to take a punt on an unproven kid. Either that or someone will have slotted into the RB berth from within the club.

Not without totally redoing the entire set up to be built around him no James can't play RW

So you are telling me when plan A doesn't work as we cannot counter attack as the team we are playing against has parked the bus we cannot use James as a Plan B to unlock their defense

Think you are talking bubbles there....

We need more than one approach to the games we are facing, otherwise its quite easy to nullify

You are at 3rd down and long on your own 10 yard line there bud!

£220, 000 per week is no comparison to other top players who I agree are on so much , but we have to stop running at a loss, of FFP because we will need money for BMD too......

I'm not saying that because I was talking about starting matches

That ship has sailed.

I really doubt it from what I was told. If he breaks into the Rangers side in front of Tav I'd imagine we'd be priced out the market. But for reasons others have mentioned previously, he'll share the shirt at best. He was raging about not being able to even discuss things with Everton. Apparently it was the only solid bid Rangers received for any player.

This is what 100% of us said last year.
The reason it didn't happen this year is that the cash wasn't there.

We will be free of about 7 wages next summer and the savings there will allow us to turn our attention to a RB.

Or maybe we find a player to slot in. Godfey has played RB with Norwich and Everton already. He can play anwhere in the back four or as a holding m/f. I'd defo put Godfrey in if Coleman is a no show.
