Well he's a completely different type of midfielder but he is a good player, yes. I mean, if I want a playmaker, i'd go for Vlasic. If I want a box-to-box player it'd be Doucoure and for a player to break up the play then it's Allan. Almost like all three of them would make a very good midfield unit.
I'm not that bothered, it's just a shame we were so quick to make a judgement on him here - a bit of a strange call

We obviously need another striker with Kean gone. Rondon does seem like he's well past it (and he wasn't that good anyway) but would be willing to reserve judgement on him considering how Townsend and Gray have turned out.
