Elements of our fan base seem to have an obsession with them. I don’t know why. I’ve lost track of the amount of teams that were apparently definitely going to over take us. Some of them are in the championship now. Portsmouth Stoke Swansea Newcastle Wolves now Villa (again after the O’Neill days first time round) and probably Leeds next. It’s amazing how we’re still in the league considering all the teams that have moved past us every season.

Villa were extremely lucky not to get relegated barely a year ago with the same manager, even with Grealish in the side.

TBF this is almost as sensible a summer's transfers as last summer was, its miles and miles ahead of previous years in terms of sanity. If we get a right back who can improve us it will be better than last summer.

It was fun watching him play at times but too often he wasn’t involved enough, plus he’s made of cheese so misses as many matches as he plays.

Watkins and Ings? Watkins looked decent last season, so does one of them get played wide, dropped, or a complete formation change?

You could play 4-4-2 with the new wingers. I don't like it in midfield for them though.
