With the Nunes rumours they’ve been around so long I never know whether to trust them when they pop back up or it’s regurgitated. I’d be surprised if we paid that much in cash for him though

Yeah seems a random one. Maybe he’s turned some heads at the Olympics, can’t say I’ve seen him play so can’t comment. Does seem a strange one though as he’s 23, 24 in December, and hasn’t played outside of Mexico(though he does play for one of the top clubs there and I think they pay a decent coin). If it’s legit hopefully it’s an under the radar gem but as I said, no clue about him

Maybe the exit of James pushes some of deals due to his salaries. It seems Benitez will mainly play 3-4-3 or 4-4-2 so that there is not much game time for James. If he doesnt go, it will become a luxury bench player. Thus, we add 1 more option of CM to rotate. I think it is quite reasonable.

Top tier clubs like the Manchester clubs require more than just goals, they require ( city mainly ) footballers that can actually play on the deck
