Mad that people are even considering selling richarlison, one of the two players that will actually score goals for us. On paper selling him for 80 million and using the funds to go out and buy bailey, Dumfries and Antony would make us far stronger but something like that won’t happen. We’re the club that sold lukaku and spent more than we got from his sale on sig, klaasen and lukakus replacement sandro.

We do have an average side by Premier league standards, some decent some not very in the squad, but would Benitez have signed if he wasn't given a commitment by the board that funds are there regardless if we sell?
Prob been on the forum before, but I feel there will be good signings coming in this Summer.....

If we got the €90mil for Richarlison and say €45mil for Kean thats £115mil.

Add in sales of Gomes, Iwobi, Kenny, Keane and Delph and that could mean a change of direction for the team.

Tricky one with Mina having 2 years and Richarlison only 3 years left on their deals.

Completely different with 3 years left compared to 2. There's no real pressure to sell or extend with 3 years. With only 2 years left, then you need to make a decision on a good player. They either need to extend, or they should be sold to avoid their value dropping. We have to make the call on Mina this summer, but ideally he would extend.

problem we have is a lot of good players are going for bargain prices due to Covid but we can’t buy them due to five plus years of reckless spending and our players aren’t going for bargain prices plus they’re utter turd on massive wages.

It’s great on paper linking our crap players away but who’s going to be stupid enough to spend big fees and big wages on them when far better is going for far less.

Richy scores twice and shuts if lets sell him. Baffling considering the clubs track record to spend a large sum of money. End up spunking 80m on Abraham.
