haha yeah as much as it's all 'this is pre-season' it's also just exactly the same as how we've played for the last three years.

This will put is in good stead for the start of the season, good opposition, stifling heat, we are going to be not quite there. The start of the season on the 14th is when we need to be ready. I’ve watched some dross pre season games and seen us much worse than this.

Indeed he is. Suspect he’ll see some time second half and promptly go down with an injury keeping him out another 18 months.

Basically the teams play a 19 game season, called the Apertura, on a round robin basis. The top 8 get split into two groups, playing 6 games again in a round robin format with the two group winners playing a 2 legged final. They then go through it again for the Closura league

Yeah I remember playing this on FM once. Thought I'd won the league about six times but hadn't.
