Seems like a lovely place. Never been (but passed by on the train to Newcastle). They have a great reputation in my own speciality: primatology and biological anthropology.

Know I’m biased but if you get the chance again would highly recommend stopping by. Feel blessed to have been able to go there as beautiful city and welcoming people. Unfortunately now “a trip to Durham” is associated with Dominic Cummings!
