Euro2020 Knock Out Rounds

These are both really good teams. We have our identities - Spain has decided to be ultra-aggressive, and the Italians are going to look to rock up, contain it and win on the counter or a set piece.

It's what football at a high level should look like.

I'm surprised Italy has reverted back to a more "italian" style of play if that makes sense. Given how they played this tournament so far I didn't expect them to be set up to be content defending and counter.

I also didn't expect Spain to be able to possess the ball so easily and efficiently.

They don't have a choice. Enrique has taken the option away from them by going absolutely balls to the walls.

It's clever, but it may also burn him.

Never thought I'd say this, but, can we please get Taylor on every game? He's really matured into the job the way Lavin did for their basketball coverage.

Just don't show us whatever he's wearing.

This is why Enrique has set up the way he has.

The problem is that setting up this way exposes the vulnerabilities further on the rare occasions when they don't have it.

The amount of ball that they have they don’t do enough with it.

Possession of the ball is Spain’s defence as they can’t seem to defend very well when opponents attack them
