Rightly or wrongly, I think he's merely quoting Moshiri, where he talked about being a fan too although he could have said 'who sees himself as a fan'.

I have my doubts regarding his interpretation of being a fan, but hey ho.

To be fair to him every time we have a crap season and don't get the extra income from Europe he's got to pump in an extra hundred million, so on that side of things I would say he is just as interested in the result as us.

My problem with Moshiri is when it comes to Everton he is easily persuaded, Makes rash decisions and clearly has no idea what he is doing.
I know a poster just up said Usmanov is involved but I just don’t see it. The club is a total and utter mess from top to bottom.
5 years later and the boardroom still the same
The team is worse then it was despite massive fees and wages
We have more debt then we ever had.

I don’t see how Usmanov would stand for that. Usmanov is a very wealthy business man
Moshiri an accountant and in football you need business men to run clubs now

Moshiri only positive is the stadium

Do you understand what a business man is?

Do you think accountants can't run business's??

You say Usmanov is not involved but who's Yacht did they have the last interview on??

More money would be spent on players if Usmanov was really pulling strings

not buying the ffp angle - other clubs spend money.

FFP may become an issue if Everton get into Europe.
Usmanov taking a stake in the club would result ironically in him being able to invest less money into the club than he currently is as an outsider.

He can get involved at any time of their choosing.

As I said how much is he actually investing - I refer to the playing squad specifically because we appear not to be spending much on that now.

Other clubs like who?

Our wage bill has gone from 86m to 162m.
We have sacked or replaced countless managers, which has cost us in excess of 70m and counting so far.
We have spent 600m on players.

Which other clubs have done this, that doesnt have double Evertons income.

In the age of oligarchs I assumed clubs income is only a part of the story
