What a great night that was. Two decent footballing countries and their fans meeting in the Old Capital of the World. Such a good scenery.

I was at first meh about Wembley hosting these exciting knock outs but now I have warmed up. If only there was no COVID bit, and loads from Italia and Österreich could travel to London. Oh well.

I wasn't surprised by Austria's performance. I knew from the way they approached our friendly that they would prove hard to beat. Well organised and worked their socks off. It was Italy's quality they could introduce from the bench that enabled them to win the game. That's the only saving grace I can see with England, but my fear is that we will need to be chasing the game before Southgate introduces that quality.

I think the Czechs could surprise Holland this afternoon too. I still expect Holland to come through but don't be surprised if it's very close.

RB for his club, RWB for the Dutch side so it's hard to work out if he's actually any good at defending.

Already beaten to it but he's comfortable as both a RB or RWB. However, as you've already noticed, he can be given license to roam for the Netherlands, even appearing as a left winger at times.
