Think they’ll run out of steam here Austria.

They’re flagging a little here. Not a great spectacle but still got the chances of probably the most unlikely upset of the L16.

Fantastic Austrian performance, or have Italy just been attrocious. I think the way they stream rolled the group, there’s an aura of over confidence and should they progress, they’ll have to turn up against Belgium or Portugal or they’ll be comfortably beaten.

Austria are a decent side, have been for a while. Very much like their Swiss neighbours, can give anyone a game but struggle to go to the next level.

I think the Italians were expecting Austria to play like they did in the first half and would need to be patient and eventually, they’ll get the first goal in the second half. Instead Austria played some good stuff going forward, been the better side this half, and that’s probably caught Italy out a bit. Still think Italy will come through in extra time though. Few of the Austrians looked knackered at the end

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

Some good players. Just lack a game changer.

But if they go through, they’ll struggle, this will take its toll on them.
 

Can I just point out, that Danny Murphy has just said… “Now we’re into Extra time, it really is a 50/50 game”….

In a 2-horse race, where one must win…. He’s paid money to spout this garbage :lol:
