The longer this goes the more I feel we are waiting on someone in the Euros.

Surely Nuno and Benitez would have been done by now.

I have a bad feeling Benitez is all wrapped up. However, the radio silence could be to do with someone at the Euros possibly. Most likely Martinez if so. They couldn’t leak anything during the tournament as it would be a massive distraction.

What makes me think that’s unlikely is I’d imagine the board would want someone in place for pre-season.

I really like Martinez and he speaks really well and genuinely about the club, but it makes no sense to me for us to go back to a manager who was hounded out by the fans and seemingly lost the dressing room first time round.

I’m a firm believer in the “never go back” mantra in football. Even if I do like Martinez and his shoes.

Yeah, I'd like to think that too, but a worrying lack of garbage from the media with hints of new names, or any activity of any description, fills me with horror that the FSW deal has been done.
I would have expected 'leaks', if for no other reason than the bookies would love nothing better than to relieve all of their hard earned with spurious 'we have been led to believe' type rubbish.
Meanwhile, let's keep our hopes up for, after all, that is what keeps us Blues going.
