I get the sentiment but so far we’ve only seen the likes of Nuno, and the fs waiter and those throw their hat in. I think it’s a harder job than we think to get a recognised manager in.
But I hope it’s just my fed up attitude talking!
I guess for the very elite managers they want a club ready to compete for trophies. We aren’t ready for that so it limits our options somewhat.

Maybe the club will surprise us all.

Nuno or Rafael, is that like one of would you rather be kicked in the balls or punched inthe face type questions?

TBF I'd have either over some of the names mentioned, including the delusional ones like Conte who will want out after 12 months

Agree Conte is just pie in the sky stuff.

Rafael is obviously a better manager than Nuno but Rafael wouldn't be a good fit here. It could end up worse than when he took the Chelsea job.

I'm sure we wouldn't be against winning the Europa League and finishing 3rd whilst absolutely smashing attacking and defensive stats over the season.

Just for clarity Roman actually wanted Rafael to carry on the project and was willing to give him a further 2 year contract but feared the Backlash from the fans. Rafael was actually supposed to take over in the summer, but Di Matteo won the Champions league and so Roman didn't think it would be fair to get rid of him, so waited until form slipped and Rafael came in. Rafael and Roman are still on good terms.

Youre calling top managers "fancy dans" and wanting Nuno?

The manager who had £300mil worth of talent through a super agent to finish below mid table after 4 seasons paying negative counter productive football.

Yes thats incompetent...

Wolves sacked him FFS

Heres your quote below...

Again, how is Vitor Pereira similar to those two managers?

Theres no similarlity whatsoever apart from them being foreign...or theyve not managed in England.

It doesnt matter if youve heard of these managers or not...you arent hiring the manager.

The club should be going for the best they can...these names should be on that list.

Nuno is on another list for incompetence under 'Sacked by Wolves'.
Already said Nuno never my first choice so you can pipe down with that shout.

Once again, I'm not going to explain it to you. You know what flavour of the month means don't you? Have a little think Zat.

A manager was sacked? So what? Klopp was sacked, José was sacked, Ancelotti was sacked, Ranieri was sacked, Brendan Rodgers was sacked. You're talking utter drivel with that point.

I have no idea why you're getting so angry about the proposition of us appointing a football manager. Go outside and interact with a human and stop embarrassing yourself in yet another thread on here.

If you could guarantee me 3rd place I’d have Aldo as manager lol

Eh?

He took them up and established them as a Premier League side, staying at the club through relegation despite going down being no fault of his own. That's why he's lauded by them.

His stance with Ashley can't be criticised as that's actually ambition - saying he's not happy to just exist in the league.

How can he establish them and take them down?

Potter, Howe and Nunos recent records in the Premier League are all better than Benitez's
