Hang on, Potter's league finishes are:

Osterund : 8th, 5th in a tinpot league
Swansea: 10th in the Championship
Brighton: 15th, 16th

And people genuinely think there is an argument for appointing him. Holy wow.

Maybe it is his mighty 25% win rate.

But he plays nice footy even if most games do end up in defeat but at least we would be able to enjoy watching us play before getting beat.

Quite astonishing innit.

We`ve tried a top class manager for 18 months and some on here don`t want to go down that route again because Madrid wanted him back. They literally want to go back down the exact route we have for all bar 18 months of the last 20 years!!! How has that worked out for us?
We tried a top class manager who really didn't do very much in training, didn't do much on the sidelines, didn't improve anything about us and we had no semblance of any idea of how to play under him.

Carlo hadn't made progress on a plan if he even had one, and as he left before getting started whether he had one or not doesn't really matter now.

I think it was clear that he felt like he was moving on towards the end, but not every manager is gonna be as sneaky as CA... thats just tarring every manager with the same brush.
