What did you guys say to the last Arsenal poster Gooney that got him so upset? I'm a renegade from the AT forums and he's one of the good guys: it's getting a bit rough over there on the AT because I don't like Arsenal Wenger and think we are **** and will not qualify for the CL this season. Will you make a nice home for me here? You can thorw anything at me, I like a good ****ging. I'm a Dubliner, been a goon since 79 and don't feel the urge to DECLARE MY UNDYING LOYALTY for Arsene Wenger - I can;t stand the old clown. (y)
 

Fans of other clubs are always welcome here mate. We have a few Dubliners on here also. Not sure what happened with your mate Gooney but last I saw he was getting a bit wound up over Arsenals defensive situation. Enjoy your stay mate

I know as a mate of a fellow gooner your pretty much resigned to losing Fabregas, should get a whopping fee for him too.
 
Welcome - and some advice for your team, don't waste time bidding any amount for Jags, he's not going. But we have a deal for your team - Yobo's available for around 4 million. May not cut it here but would still be an upgrade to your central defence.

Seriously though, how do you rate your current CDs? We know Vermaelen's ace when fit, what about the others?
 

Thanks for the love lads. Don't know much about gooney TBH - he seemd a mellow type on the AT board; there is a lot of t,wats over there recently that is dragging it down; I've given up going there - sick of the hate and morons who s,hit on my awesome, brilliant threads. As for Arsenal's defensive problems? What defence are you talking about? The non existent one? As for Fabregas and a whopping bit of lolly - yes will make the shareholders very happy as it will go straight into their sky rockets. AFC are going down knackered lift under Wenger. Maybe you'll give us Moyes as a show of goodwill after Wenger gets us relegated, ha, ha. I think ARSENE is trying to play that 1930's Harry Enfield system, you know, perfected by Ossie at Spurs WHEN HE WAS BOSS: seven strikers, three midfielders and a GK. I think I'm going to like it here.

I remeber the great Everton side of the 80's - pity you don't have investment; sadly our game is being killed by the sharks.

I don't rate - utter rubbish - Keown said in an interview that Arsene does nothing in training with the defence - nothing - and Vermerlan - I'm so sure about him - compred to the drek he plays beside he looks good. AFC won;t buy any of your players you're safe there - AFC don't buy period. Besides nobody wants to join a team going backwards. I really don't rate them at all. I used to go mad with frustration but I've resigned myself tothe fact under WENGER, its going to stay painful.

It's sad - your guys used to be THE team for central defenders - Adams, Bould, O'Leary and Keown. At an Everton meet & greet in Philadelphia on Monday night, Graeme Sharp said the defender he hated playing against the most was O'Leary.

I expect you could bring those guys out of retireemnt and they'd be an upgrade even now.

feel for you mate, can't be easy paying a fortune to get into the emirates, do you miss highbury or are you happy with the move?

Personaly I like the character of goodison, you can feel the history on match day. Not sure how i'd feel about a brand spanking new stadium. Revenue would be great (If it went on the team).
 

To answer you guys on O'Leary I'd sat he hated playing against Sharpie as well - that guy was brilliant and missing Highbury like mad. Personally I think SKY ruined everything - Goodison should never be left - same as Anfield - the money has corrupted wreaked everything. Its not an even playing surface anymore - and FIFA don't exactly help matters always giving the big boys the rub of the green. There's some guy called Azul from here who making these really funny comments on the Arsenal Times board: has me in stitches -- he's messing with gooney and its a riot. If you get a chance have a look, Azul's name is on the thread "Looking For Gooney." I don't comment on that board anymore -- too many of them are pro Wengerites and take it all so personally. For some reason, many of them seem to think that Arsenal are a world power - its quite comical really - I woke up some time back - it was very disturbing for me. Everton have a good back 4 - pity that tosser cantremeberhisname - some Judas rat who whined and messed your club around until he got his megabucks move to City. He was a good defender whan he was with you. Any chance of Moyes getting anymoney without having to sell?
