Last nights tipple : Padi 3.7% from the always excellent Big Bog Brewery.

Really light and refreshing, perfect for the warm weather and one that could possibly tempt lager drinkers away from the generic fizz that they normally drink.

Just opened up a DIPA at 5.30 in the afternoon. Honestly, I'm dumb as a rock sometimes.

Last nights offering :

Banks Sunbeam Blonde Ale 4.2 %

I was surprised how nice this was, as I wasn’t expecting much.

Zesty, tangy and bizarrely creamy at the same time.

Reminded me very much of the old, much loved Boddingtons, before it was destroyed.

I was surprised how nice this was, as I wasn’t expecting much.

I was in a place called Silverdale last night, just outside Morecambe, in a pub called the Silverdale Hotel. ( beautiful area of the Lancs coast, that gets overlooked )

They had a lot of Cumbrian beers on which I’d had before, this was the only new one to me.

I’m on my way to quite a remote part of Cumbria and the pub I’m staying at, brews the Cumbrian Legendary Ales range - which is one of the main reasons I’m staying there lol
