Impact ?He's had impact. Not enough.
Great when fit, but missed a lot. He's had impact. Not enough.
The champions of England lost 6 games this season, with a squad rammed full of world class talent.Yeah, I remember James masterminding the home defeats against the mighty Fulham and Sheffield United.
A world class player puts those two no mark outfits to the sword single-handedly.
The difference between 15th and 10th is 16 points. If he’s had that much impact on his own then he’s definitely not the problem and one of the most valuable players in the squad. He's had impact. Not enough.
I knew it and said it before it happened. I'm just not having it that he's been genuinely injured and / or that he's world class.Impact ?
You knew we werent getting a full season from him .
He's class mate.
He hasn't.The difference between 15th and 10th is 16 points. If he’s had that much impact on his own then he’s definitely not the problem and one of the most valuable players in the squad.
His goal against United and assist v Liverpool were special. But this season has hardly been spangled with great football from him.
Too erratic, too many times missing. He's not arsed, and, therefore, I'm not arsed about him.
You can say he’s quality and not world class, that’s fine. But why would you say you don’t believe he’s been injured when he has always been injured loads and has played about the same amount of games he’s managed at Madrid and Munich?I knew it and said it before it happened. I'm just not having it that he's been genuinely injured and / or that he's world class.
The term world class is devalued if he's included in it.
He's a quality player on his day...sadly those days are few and far between.
6 goals and 4 assists. Not even a footnote in this club's history.
Have a feeling he’ll be off back to Spain.
49th in terms of assists https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/goal_assistTbf Dave, only 10 players in the Prem - all of whom managed over 30 games bar Grealish (26) – created more big chances than the lad last season.
Not bad for a player who only played 23 games. He also averaged 2 chances per game, and was top of our passing charts in final third/opposition halves as well.
In short, we need players to come in to help him and also take the reliance off him. He's going to have a summer off now which as crap as it is for him, is what we all wanted.
Because Ancelotti said he was fatigued. You can say he’s quality and not world class, that’s fine. But why would you say you don’t believe he’s been injured when he has always been injured loads and has played about the same amount of games he’s managed at Madrid and Munich?
