Yeah, I remember James masterminding the home defeats against the mighty Fulham and Sheffield United.

A world class player puts those two no mark outfits to the sword single-handedly.
The champions of England lost 6 games this season, with a squad rammed full of world class talent.

Buy hey, nobody is really surprised you dont understand the footy.

Impact ?
You knew we werent getting a full season from him .
He's class mate.
I knew it and said it before it happened. I'm just not having it that he's been genuinely injured and / or that he's world class.

The term world class is devalued if he's included in it.

He's a quality player on his day...sadly those days are few and far between.

6 goals and 4 assists. Not even a footnote in this club's history.

His goal against United and assist v Liverpool were special. But this season has hardly been spangled with great football from him.

Too erratic, too many times missing. He's not arsed, and, therefore, I'm not arsed about him.

Tbf Dave, only 10 players in the Prem - all of whom managed over 30 games bar KDB (25) Grealish (26) – created more big chances than the lad last season. Those are chances from which you'd expect a player to score, yet he ended up with 4 assists - basically, we missed 7 sitters that he set up.

Not bad for a player who only played 23 games. He also averaged 2 chances per game, and was top of our passing charts in final third/opposition halves as well.

In short, we need players to come in to help him and also take the reliance off him. He's going to have a summer off now which as crap as it is for him, is what we all wanted.

You can say he’s quality and not world class, that’s fine. But why would you say you don’t believe he’s been injured when he has always been injured loads and has played about the same amount of games he’s managed at Madrid and Munich?

49th in terms of assists https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/goal_assist

11th in terms of chances created...https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/big_chance_created

He has not been a game changer.

Because Ancelotti said he was fatigued.
