Everton Summer transfers 2021

The teams around us and above us are all going to improve this summer. Other than if Spurs lose Kane, which i dont expect to happen tbf. He will be priced out of it by Levy.

A more normal season will bring less unusual results next year. If we don't get it right we will find it even harder to match teams.
Yep it's on a knife edge, but mentality wise we have beaten 'big' teams hopefully easier to change the mentality against the poorer teams

I saw Coleman after the game with another hand wringing interview talking about how the fans are right to be angry.

Nice lad like, but it's an utter pisstake.

The owner's a meddling nerd
The CEO is a glorified chugger
The DoF is a hologram
The Manager is on one last pay day pisstake
The playmaker he brought in declares himself fit to play whenever the 'kin hell he feels like

A midden of a club.

And now the final insult: put into the Euro Conference bin.

Just been reading about that Europa conference league to try and make sense of it, I got half way down the page and started crying.

Kane will go. You can't keep players who don't want to be there . Especially the club captain.
The more I think about it the more I dont see it.

What price are spurs going to ask for? 130 -150m?

Who will pay what they want for him right now? Probably Chelsea but thats a non starter. If I was City I'd do it, but I cant see them paying it. United will go for Sancho instead (which i think is a mistake). Barca and Real I doubt have the money.

I know he will want out but where does he go?

It's going to make an interesting summer for sure.

If he doesnt get his move, I wonder what it does to his moral, and if he stops playing through the pain barrier etc. Could go quite wrong for Spurs that.

I'd be stunned if he is at spurs next season.
It's a no brainer for city . They will be getting the top scorer in the league who has 4 or 5 good seasons left . If they get him they will win 3 of the next 4 Premier leagues minimum .

...it’s a very good comparison with Weir, Andy. We emphasise Keane’s lack of pace & mobility and you rightly point out some players can overcome weaknesses with application and attitude.

Keane’s problem is he’s also mentally fragile. He’s capable at the top of his game but he’s weak at the other end of his spectrum. He can be easily bullied & becomes hesitant & uncertain. Mina is slow & immobile but he’s strong and has attitude, I’d much prefer him over a number of games.

it’s ok @Zatara saying we need to sell Keane but somebody has to want to buy him. Even if somebody does submit an unlikely bid, it has to meet our valuation & even then the player has to be prepared to give up a big bucks contract for whatever is on offer elsewhere.

I’m not surprised there are clubs linked to Mina. I suspect he’s the one most likely to leave.

What's interesting with Keane is his best form has been next to Mina, and before that next too Zouma. Both quite big powerful defenders. Similar at Burnley to a degree.

Hes never looked comfortable next to Holgate or even Godfrey to me.

Lots can be read from that. Our best CB partnership is still Mina Keane for me, even though Godfrey may be the standout defender.

He will force Levy to drop his price

Yeah, Levy will price him out of his move and Harry will mumble off with his tail between his legs, an increased contract and a promise to let him leave next summer.
Only two (top) teams in the world that will have that kinda money this summer, city and psg if they sell mbappe, and if i was a psg fan i wouldnt be too happy with that deal.

11 weeks of close season for Brancelotti to make a case for their survival here by purchasing actual players good enough for this club.

Yes, that's right, I said Brancelotti.
Like all those gems Brown shoes bright in, right Davo? We need another couple like Alcaraz, mcgeady, and Kone to get us over the top. Aside from Rom and Barry, this list is pure vomit.

I could see Levy digging in, and I could also see that massively backfiring.

It's clear Kane has been going over and above for Spurs, through injuries etc. He wont be doing that if Levy is unreasonable.

I also think most of the dressing room will be frustrated if hes not allowed to leave.
