I think Vogue by Madonna was released in 1990, it was the first record i ever bought.

I thought it off a mate in my class for about 50p because it was the favourite song of a girl i had a crush on and..well..teenage logic dictated that this would bode well for me romantically.

I saw a film in the 80's where the character had a Slippery when wet road sign over posters of girls on his wall and thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I hoped for ages to find one in the streets to take home but unfortunately it was always dry and slip free in my locality.
