Everton Youth Teams Thread

Thanks for sharing. That has got to be a contender for Academy goal of the season. Quintyne wins the ball right on the edge of his own box, passes to Ebere who deftly plays the ball with the outside of his foot back to Quintyne, he surges forward all the way to the opposite goal line, cuts back to Lawrence who neatly controls it with his right, shifts to his left and hammers home. Its a debate as to which of the three was the most impressive!

All 3 are schoolboys too!

I see we‘ve offered left back/ left centre back Joe Anderson a one year contract. As there’s not a loan being mentioned presumably he’s being seen as an older head to help develop the young players. It’s an interesting choice for him, if he stays you’d expect that Small would be the main left back and eventually Eli Campbell the left centre back.

Paul Joyce saying we're interested in signing James Carragher. Centre half year older than Welch and 2 older than Campbell. Interesting considering Wigan had a fire sale of their best prospects less than a year ago and he wasn't poached. Also interesting because he's still on scholarship rather than pro terms at 18.
