ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This is the interesting thing re FSG. They still think they are signing Mbappe this season.

I think it was James Pearce in the Athletic basically said they will be going for "young unknowns" as signings. They are going to be going back to the days of signing Marco Grugic, or Borini. When that sinks in, there is going to be a lot of anger.

However, when they had their big moment to protest, unlike all the other clubs they bottled it.
History will show their * title was akin to that of Blackburn, on the back of an unsustainable spending spree, a mere insignificant and forgettable flash in the pan

I dont think we'll see that. Those divvies put a lot of store in what that manager says, and he's thrown a protective arm around FSG.

They must be desperate to kill someone, but they wont go against Reichsfuehrer Klopp.

The party line has gone out that peaceful protest is now wrong if it disrupts anything. These people genuinely dont have a clue. They're the equivalent of your average gammon going purple when Extinction Rebellion bloke his route to work by peacefully protesting. Above all else it's actually quite funny to watch how apopletic with rage they are. Doubly so as the hole football world, including Jamie Carragher saluted the actions of the brave protestors yesterday.

Suddenly their stupid gimmicks of being against modern football, while secretly supporting the Tory line of wanting to stop protest has been wholly shown up again.

I think it will be viewed as lesser then Blackburn mate. Blackburn didn't need a 4 month break in a season to win a league. Nobody is going to give the last couple of seasons any real meaning in a few years. It will just be a wholly devalued titles won.

They will never win a league with their fans in, as their fans inhibit them with their general knobheadery.

There were more grumbles and moans when they didn't sign a decent CB during January than their owners trying to force them into the ESL.

Yes I mean unlike Manchester United fans who have the wider interests of the football community at heart, a lot of Liverpool fans simply dont care. They are not against modern football and the tory values of the modern game, they are completely in favour of it.

Thats the difference of the two clubs. Manchester United at it's core is still a principled working class club rooted in its community. It seems Liverpool have now really lost that link to it's roots and community.

What a terrible season for the Kopites:

No trophies
The realisation that the first title in 31 years was a flash in the pan
Their world class players turned out to be Championship class players
The Klopp Kidz that were meant to build a dynasty turned out to be duds
The rich club they support wanted to keep their riches by making the state pay their employees furlough money
The club they support proved themselves to be the creature of Toryism by trying to set up a scab league
They saw other club's fans take the fight against cxorruption while they underlined what frauds they are by backing their owners

This is the Kopites' annus horribilis.

Their fans genuinely think as well that because Klopp and ‘Hendo’ have come out supporting the owners, and the hostage apology video, that FSG will suddenly be like ‘ah we’ve been bested this season fair and square, we’ll miss out on that revenue for a season at least like good owners and put all thoughts of a super league aside now our fans have told us what’s what’

Utterly deluded. Do people not realise that these owners of these clubs (and most of their fans) will not countenance a world where they are not at the top table. They can’t cope with it. There’ll be more pressure exerted moving forward now. ‘Give us what we want or the super league happens again’, and what they want is unrestricted access to all the money and no competition, and what’s more the majority of kopites would back them on that if it meant they ended up at the top of the pile and they could laugh at us which let’s face it is all most of them only care about, hence why Carragher drags our name into anything negative every chance he gets.

Steeeevieee managing to make Rangers all about Liverpool by any means possible...

“There's two more challenges left to go and I want another six points. I want to keep them hungry, I want to keep them on their toes, but what I will say is 96 points is a special number for me.”

Absolutely bizarre cult.
What a weird association. They are utter freaks.

Yeah I keep seeing things about "were getting mpabbe or haaland" and I think "howre you this delusional?"

I can't wait for that bubble to burst. Please, if there's a god, give them a massive point deduction and have the next generation of andriy voronin and grujic up front. Keep thinking they surely only need one or two years out of Europe to collapse.

I hate that line of argumentation. That's the point of protest, disruption, while not hurting anyone.

The violence obviously should be condemned, and rightly so will. The majority there weren't drunk morons though, they were legitimately protesting. Well done united. Showing up the Rs again

The only reason they follow football is so they can project glory and feel like they’re better than other people. They don’t give a toss about the wider footballing community, they don’t even care about being left behind by the club themselves. I can definitely imagine them being in favour of the super league, it would feed their narcissistic superiority complex.
