...certainly looks like an old team mate of mine on the right of front row, Tommy Wheeldon. Tommy signed for the blues at the same time as Duncan McKenzie. It might be Ray Deakin on the extreme left of the front row (sadly no longer with us).

Many of these feature in @alan ball excellent & highly recommended books.

....a bit of trivia for any Canadian Evertonians.

Tommy’s son, Tommy Wheeldon jnr manages Cavalry FC in the Canadian Premier League & his other son, Jay, plays for them. As expected the family are massive Evertonians.

I dunno about rice pudding but Pick was adept at making mince meat out of defences during his pomp in the 1960s ;)
