Saint Domingo
Player Valuation: £90m
Not a thing.
We wont be spending 30m on an 18-year-old to play in midfield.
Can you please think of Zat before you post home truths like that ffs.
Not a thing.

Are they allowed say exactly the extrent of an injury or how serious . Would a player not have certain rights on this"Onyango will have surgery next week after sustaining a significant ankle fracture and ligament injury in Everton Under-18s' 1-0 FA Youth Cup victory over Manchester City on Saturday."..
Club are never that clear on injuries, could be just a break (how bad?) Break with ligament damage (again how bad). Think it's very optimistic to think he'll be in contention any time soon. But then again could be a simple break that needed minimum intervention...
Ill be honest, I think the 3 above names would be out of our reach unless we made the CL. The view may well be, from a price perspective they also don't represent a value play anymore.

Yes, if we upgraded the other positions first. Our problem this season hasnt been our CBs, in fact the third best defensive record in the league is only 5 less goals allowed. Im pretty sure Pickford has allowed at least 5 that shouldnt have gone in. Thats not even getting into the midfield being heavily injured and giving less cover.
I certainly think should the opportunity arise to upgrade the position you should, but I think first priority is fixing the areas around it, as I think we currently have a top 5 CB core in the league, and what they have done with the likes of Davies and Gomes protecting them from the front and Pickford in back is pretty good. If you swap our our GK you give up a few less goals, throw in a more dominant offensive side that keeps the ball more and you give up even fewer goals. The other team cant score when they dont have the ball.
Thats why my #1 priority over past seasons has been upgrading the midfield, as I think the central midfield is the most important spot on the field, control the game and everyone elses job gets a little easier.

Not sure on the value side...2 of them would be £40mil which is decent value imo.
Metz wont hold out for £30mil.
More like £13mil.
You think we have a "top 5 centre back core" ?
Am i watching the same players![]()
That's the type of signing Brands said we should be looking at. Maybe not at £30m but he stated that younger players with big(ish) fees on lower wages was supposed to be our transfer model. Of course, with the exception of Kean, we haven't actually done any of that but maybe this summer is the time? Not a thing.

Yes, you are.
Leicester have Johhny Evans, Chelsea Zouma, Liverpool have 2 plasterers in their defence, City have John WHOOOPS Stones, United have a massive slabhead.
Our CBs, whilst they arent a match for some of the top 5 players like VVS, Dias arent a million miles away from the rest.
But you have an agenda to push.
That doesn't mean we cant improve on them all, I'm just not sure we would be able to improve a massive amount personally and no, don't start listing the worlds best CBs, cos they ain't coming here.
I don't think this summer personally. That's the type of signing Brands said we should be looking at. That was my point mein frandel.Yerald Mina wipes his arse with all of these.
Surely they aren't asking 30m?Not a thing.

Sarr is playing most weeks in France right now. I imagine he's ahead of that Caicedo development wiseYou were buzzing when we were linked to Moises Caicedo in Jan, he's gone to Brighton and made their match day squad once. This Sarr might be good, I dunno, I've never seen him and 99% of football fans won't either. For the money quoted I'd rather someone with a bit more to their game who can add goals from midfield.
If your going to believe the source of the story, which I'm not, then you must also believe the price they quote, which I dont.Surely they aren't asking 30m?
Wow. What I'm seeing says he's been impressive but on a handful of games that's silly. If your going to believe the source of the story, which I'm not, then you must also believe the price they quote, which I dont.
