The morals of the owners don’t matter to the fans. As long as they are financing a winning team they couldn’t care less about anything else. They have the owners they deserve. As soon as FSG turn the taps off a bit then the rabid mob will demand they leave in far greater fury than they did for the super league. Classless club.
Their fans weren't completely against this despite what they say. Most were against it, but a good few weren't. My mate kept saying "something like this super league" would be good

We took the ban following Hysel, even though it had nothing to do with out club and its fans. They airbrushed their part in the whole thing.
We stood with them, side by side, in the dreadful dark days after Hillsborough and stood with them throughout the long fight for justice.
The statements from the fan groups and the initial outrage from them and all fans had me hoping & believing that they would stand with us and the rest of football, and denounce the 12 and the scab owner and make a statement today, as the Chelsea, Arsenal and United fans have already done.
Looking at the pathetic scenes at the loft extension today, I was very wrong to put my faith in our not-so-noisy neighbours.
I know they don't care, but shame on them all - they are lower than snakes bellys and a much bigger part of the problem than they believe - they are everything that is wrong with our game.
