Champions League revamp

If the Premier League relents on this and allows the six clubs to simultaneously compete in the Super League and the Premier League, the next thing these clubs will do is try and reneogtiate their own broadcasting contracts when the next cycle comes round. If you surrender on one issue then you give these scabs free reign to try and maximise all of their revenue streams and they won't stop at nothing, as they've already demonstrated.

They need to be told in no uncertain terms that if they proceed with this, they will be kicked out of the Premier League. That has to be the threat.

Whatever the outcome now, be it concessions from uefa or they go for it on their own, the shithouse 6 and their european co-conspirators have irrevocably damaged the game of association football - it's done now as @PaulPowersTash has said.

It's called association football for a reason, and they have gone against every guiding principle and foundation it stands for.

I won't ever bother going to watch us play any of these 12 clubs in any capacity - they have surrendered their right to be acknowledged as part of the game and should be expunged from all historical records as they don't exist anymore - especially not for the legacy fans of those clubs.

The owners have chosen to become zombie clubs, without any heart and soul, wanting to be playing in a zombie league that means absolutely nothing, except a few more dollars.

The only positive is that Everton are on the right side of this shitshow, and that statement we released made me proud to be a blue, but another part of me that loves football has died, and I don't think it will return.

How long before this becomes the World Super League, with 3 or 4 teams from the US added to the group. And how long before the majority of matches, if not all of them, are played Stateside.?

Make no mistake this is being driven by American TV. They've wanted control of the "soccer" scene for some time. They were unable to produce their own league so they've decided to buy it in. The people behind it will be more than happy if the European Clubs get kicked out of Europe. In fact that's probably been the end game all along.

The football fans of these clubs are being sold down the river, and it's all down to greed on behalf of the owners. I've little doubt our owner would have done the same if we had been asked.

What I dont get is the 12 clubs have shown they have zero loyalty to UEFA so why are they trying to get them back?

Dont they realise 5+ years of big investment and CL qualification and the likes of Sevilla, Napoli, Everton etc would have the sort of power the likes of Spurs, Milan and Athletico currently do?

Kick them out and make it financially incentive to start developing the other clubs instead of kicking the can down the road.

If they let these 12 clubs back with no punishment and a bumper new CL deal they are utter disgraces and the rest of the teams from the domestic leagues need to be united in downing tools as they have all shown loyalty in condemning this ESL and in return potentially have been spat at in the face.

Its reducing the Super League to Europa League status. Clever. Divide and conquer. Only 4 of those 6 breakaway teams would be eligible via competition qualification.
However in Spain, Real and Barca who have domination of the league would be guaranteed to qualify.
This maybe about to become the most expensive game of musical chairs ever.

If UEFA can land that money AND then not include those Super league clubs then it could well be GAME ON.

But not ejected. Crucial difference. Anybody expecting them to be thrown out was living in Cloud-Cuckoo-Land. It's simply about how much more of the cake can they eat without eating the entire game itself.

It weird. What can you do? As you know you just can't start supporting another club after 55 years of watching them.
I just keep hoping we will pull out but I know thats not going to happen. I won't be renewing my season ticket for next season,
that much I do know. At the moment I don't even care about watching them on TV against Villa tomorrow night.
I'll probably just go and watch some local non league team. But my boyhood local club Droylsden went bust last year so that
option has gone also. It's all a bit confusing right now.
Stockport County? Oldham? There's plenty of options your way. Cheer up, I bet you'll have a blast at those places. It's not your fault that the club you have supported have just gone and cast away everything you thought was the reason your club was special. I would hate to think what I'd be thinking if Everton was the one they went for to make up the slimy 6th position. Probably just jack it in and be glad my dad didn't live to see it.

Absolutely disgusting the owners. I cannot say how much I commiserate with the 'legacy' fans, or as we probably know them, the heart and soul of the club who dedicated a big part of their lives to supporting that club. Just awful shoddy greedy behaviour.

He hasn't been asked and is unlikely to be. What do you expect him to say?

If we were currently in the same situation as Spurs, I've no doubts at all he would have grasped it with both hands.

Right with you there. For me, going to those games is essentially crossing a picket line and being a scab too.
