What annoys me is why not do this excluding those 12 clubs? If the money is there the next 12 powerhouses could come around but with more rules in place to stop things getting out of control.

UEFA know they are losing control. Their only concern is to keep as much control as they can in the circumstances. So, if they can offer enough to keep the Gecko clubs within the tent - even if that wouldn't be as much as those clubs could potentially get without UEFA - they will do all they can to do that. For the renegades, it means getting more and more without the hassle of becoming complete pariahs. So, the new "reformed" UEFA-sanctioned tournament will be enough...for now. The "football family, like all families after a tiff, will reunite."

Fairly new streaming service, but they have very big billionaire backers. They have currently moved into the UK market broadcasting boxing and some eSports, but it’s been rumoured they want to get into some kind of football in this market also. They’re pretty big globally.

Yeah they have about 8 million subscribers, I was too for a while due to some of the boxing they were showing. They then weren’t showing much so I unsubscribed. It was ok, had streaming issues at times though.

When you think of the time, money and reduced blood pressure you would have from walking away from this corrupt sport it certainly is tempting at times.

Its all a sham to line the elite clubs pockets every single decision made.

Or they are fighting for their survival and know they have to do something to prevent further damage. We will see, but, this super league looks pretty much nailed on.
