Champions League revamp

With all the excitement we mustn’t forget the game tonight. Cockney Blue Scabs v Br*ght*n. Now it is quite likely that the south coast bottlers will try some anti ESL PR with T shirts or dancing gigolos or some such and whilst that is all very laudable please don’t forget that they are vermin. Well intentioned vermin tonight possibly but nonetheless, still vermin. Thank you.

Hope Brighton hammer them

Sorry mate.

Everyone just needs to start thinking of them purely as corporations rather football clubs. The staff inc players are just capital. The fans consumers.

Once you accept that, none of this is surprising. At all.

I don't want to provoke an argument on that particular case, especially with you, because you're much smarter than me and I only have a scant appreciation of the case on both sides.

I wanted more to underscore the vast legal resources available to each one of these absolute sociopaths and their ability to buy whatever justice they want.

If I was advising the remaining 14 I would be counting on the scab 6 expecting to remain in the Premier league while trousering the huge Franchise League money and prepared to fight any attempts at removal. I would be suggesting a work around whereby we, the remaining 14 left and created something within the pyramid of the English FA leaving the 6 outside of that agreement.

It's not an argument at all mate, just differing views on a forum, which makes it interesting! So please don't be put off from giving your view!
I agree with you, there will be a lot of litigation, but lots of people. I just think they're case is going to be a lot less favourable from a legal perspective than City's was.

I'm no legal expert (my experties was essentially shagging a lawyer when I was at university). She was quite qualified so by some osmosis I picked certain things up. I always regret not keeping her number when we stopped seeing each other haha.

i dont know if its just me being a bitter everton da but i would love it if the big 6 pi***d off and the PL promoted the top 6 from the championship!
there may be some financial implications down the line with sky etc but i think it would be like reclaiming our national game back!
im not trying to sound like some super fan k**b but i go go every game home and away and wouldnt miss going to any of the big 6!

You've just said the Super League can't happen because players won't play in it.

Liverpool's players wouldn't even wear t shirts yesterday.

Of course players would play in that league.

They wouldn't wear T-shirts left for them as an obvious windup by Leeds. No-win situation, really, for if they had, it would have made the joke even better. There's also the possibility they were told by someone higher up in the cult than Gnashers not to wear them.
