Local fans are now 'legacy' fans, it seems.

We've finally reached the point where the wealthy overseas 'fans' are where the money is and these big clubs have finally decided to break off from the 'peasants' to follow it.

It's no longer the 'working man's game.

This is what Wimbledon did when they rebranded as mk dons.

Will be interesting to see if RS, citteh, spuds, arse, chelski fans will re-form their clubs in the lower leagues after the businesses that used to be their club swan off to become the harlem globetrotters of football.

Man U fans have already done this with fc United of Manchester haven't they?

Imagine Merseyside Red playing at the hole punch stadium in division 4 or whatever its called now, with only 3 or 4 promotion medals in their trophy cabinet to show for their history.

See the Kopites are getting national press for putting banners outside the ground, love a bit of publicity dont they. The funny thing is that they have only just realised that their club is an embarrassmentand yet everyone else has know for 30+ years. Good riddance Brain Labone was 100% right.

Souness has just been talking on Sky about Spurs and Mourinho. He was saying that Spurs were not as strong as Mou thought before he joined and used them getting to the Champions League as an example. He said that they should never gave been there because they lost 13 League games that season. Spurs finished 4th on 71 points.
A quick check revealed that the RS lost 14 League games in 2004/2005. They finished 5th on 58 points.

Reds wont do that, it would be to much like hard work, you saw how they all harp on about those 6 months under hodgson like they have suffered!
Very much doubt htey are prepared to bother with matches against Northwich Victoria

People may have heard on the radio earlier when some Kopite mentioned he'd donated the original trophy cabinet that was in situ at Anfield when they heaved us out of the place. Originally the RS were grateful and thanked him for allowing this piece of history of LFC to be returned to its spiritual home.
The footnote being after 12 months the club returned it saying it was no longer relevant and in fact had never seen light of day since receiving the thing.
So its already started the erasing of their heritage.
