The country’s football association could just not call them up? Which by the sounds of it is what’s going to happen, as the English, Spanish and Italian federations have all explicitly stated they are against this proposal.

So will the big World Cup & Euro Championship sponsors sue UEFA and FIFA for removing all the best players in the world from the competition?....or find a way to pull out of these big lucrative deals?

Yes, so UEFA can't ban the players from representing their country

Depends what you mean by representing their country. UEFA/FIFA absolutely can stop them from playing in World Cups or European Cups.

You're probably right, but if that's how it is then so be it. If I can enjoy football as a sport with less of this greed and other nonsense then that might be no bad thing. It should only be a game and I hope this will help me understand that better.

This super league isn't sport. If my team were involved I would be done with the game altogether.

I hope these breakaway clubs become pariahs, their greed has destroyed the little integrity football had left.

I can only hope the 6 Judas clubs here are booted out of the Premier League never to be seen again. Their fans can enjoy being priced out of going to matches and stick to talking to their own little clique of people in their new league.
