I think the fact that they’ll be kicked out of the CL and domestic leagues, and that players participating will be banned from World Cups indicates there’s actual real opposition to this rather than lip service.

I don’t think this will stick. The World Cup without the best players isn’t as valuable for sponsorship. Many of the very best players are contractually tied to these 12 clubs. Money has fuelled much of this and I have a feeling that those in charge will not stick to their guns.

Its better to go through a period of decline and struggles as a club than be a part of something that is ethically and morally wrong. Its a power grab, nothing more nothing less.

Football will go on. Everton will go on. Up the toffees and let the 6 of them run on.
