Champions League revamp

Sky pundits make me laugh after their employers trying to charge extra for matches on top of a subscription with adverts during a pandemic.

The whole thing is a mess, people will continue to gladly pay for all this. Even the matches most of the time are crap, diving, stop start, refs with zero accountability, lack of characters. Feel like jibbing it all together.

They think they're going to be able to play in their domestic competitions!

If they're going to each be getting £350m just for competing in that league surely no PL club would support their membership when these teams are getting massive increases in revenue.

This might get a bit tasty in the forthcoming days.

What I would love to see, is supporters groups/supporters forums banding together and launching an attack on the whole thing via every possible media, as well as pressurising the football authorities in this country to take immediate and punitive action against these rogue clubs. Make no mistake - those clubs will play their best players in this mid-week ESL, and their squad and U23 players in the Premier League. They won't give a toss about cup competitions at all. It's obvious. They will be extracting the urine in a big way! Bounce all 6 of them out, and if they want to come back at a later date, tell them to consult Gary Neville on how to get a foot on the rung of the ladder at the lowest level.

This needs to be squashed.
Let's find out what each club stands.

I know that a statement has been released by the relevant organisation, but.

Each Premier League team should commit to the future of the English Leagues and the league structure. Backed up by a notional/paper bond (of £100's millions) and their position in such structure.

Let's see what the proponents say individually.
