If they do go with it half the games will be played in the US, that's what franchises do they're sick as for the other shower are we shocked na remember they tried to furlough all they're staff scumbags

What a mess. Just shows how little fans are thought of in the grand scheme of things. A bit of apathy would be a wake up call to some of these folk , particularly in the wallet department.

I’ll be honest seeing headlines like England’s biggest clubs and seeing us, it’s a bit weird I know , it hit home a little how far we have slipped.

The NFL is the most profitable yes, but it's not the most popular/most watched sport in the world. Football is.

The NFL is successful as its ran like a business that changes names, rules, leagues, teams, stadium, regularly to follow the money. Has nothing to do with quality. 25% of them don't even have stadiums in their own city.
It's not the most watched because gridiron football is relatively unknown in much of the world, but the set-up of the league, is absolutely genius, but it doesn't negate the business success of the league itself. Not too long ago, MLB was above NFL in America.

The Premier League has become a global business, likewise the NFL. The Premier League's target audience is no longer, the working-class average-joe living in Toxteth or Canning Town but the international crowd now. If the Premier League wants to adapt, they need to do something about the quality of the teams that compete in the league. Not to mention, the absolutely same thing can be said about the other European leagues. Let's say Norwich for example. They are the first team to be promoted to PL this season and yet, they'll most likely be the first side relegated next season. You understand that this isn't entertaining, right?
