Boxing

No substitute for talent. Doesnt matter how many amateur fights you have if you have the talent

I think hes special. He got KO' by Savon the Cuban in a round a few months before the Olympics. Then he fought him again in the Olympics and lost on points. He wants it so much and hes improved so quickly. People talk about the lads winning titles after 15 fights bit they've usually had 100 amateur bouts.

He is special, he is frighteningly special. He has so much scope to improve, if he stays at that weight, how do you beat him?
He shouldn't rush to heavyweight though, plenty of time before then. Make a name at that weight before you go up

Very impressed with Okolie lately and seemed to improved his game massively under McGuigen. His patience, shot selection, footwork, range have improved so much recently and looks a real prospect.

Okolie vs Breidis is a monster of a fight. Hope it’s made because both can cause each other problems. Breidis surely the favourite on that? Such an underrated fighter. The whole cruiserweight division is underrated, doesn’t get the credit it deserves. So many great match ups to be made.

Breidis is brilliant. Okolie should fight Makabu first.

Both very good match ups and difficult fights for Okolie. Okolie has shown a different side of his style in his last few fights. They’ve both got experience, can punch, move and box, only advantage Okolie has got, is the height and reach.

Okolie won’t last long in the cruiser division before stepping up. So many good fights up in that division that will give him huge tests. One thing Okolie has got stepping up, is his height, that extra two inches on Usyk in the heavyweight is massive. Exciting future ahead for him.
